Kavindya Dissanayake is a fourth-year undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Environmental Science and Natural Resources Management at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. She is passionate about sustainable development and ecological conservation. Throughout her academic journey, she has engaged in field practicals and independent research projects conducted by the department. She is also currently involved in an ongoing research project in soil science, with a particular focus on microplastics in agricultural soils.
